Letters requesting information were sent on March 26, 2012, to NATO’s Maritime Command in Naples, Italy, as well as to the defense ministers of France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, the United States, and Canada.
Legal cases
During the summer of 2011, organizations and activists of the Boats 4 People campaign have begun to work on complaints against state actors (NATO, Frontex...) involved in the Mediterranean following the many shipwrecks in the Strait of Sicily.
All information regarding the deposit and the evolution of these complaint files will be published in this section.
